OUR HISTORY
A winegrower is the guardian of a farming tradition, deeply rooted in the land, faithfully repeating the timeless gestures of the profession year after year. Very often, winegrowers cultivate vineyards established and passed down by their ancestors.
This is the case for the Fleury family, whose winemaking heritage spans several generations. Pierre-Louis Fleury was already growing vines in Trélou in 1842!
In 1955, Marcel Fleury and his wife Micheline founded the Champagne brand Fleury-Gille, combining their respective family names, as was customary at the time. That same year, they produced their first bottles of Champagne. They expanded their vineyard and installed their first wine press.
Jean-François Fleury and his wife Dominique took over in the 1970s, developing the communication and marketing of Fleury-Gille Champagne.
Today, Bertrand Fleury and his sister Christine continue the family tradition, bringing their own personalities and a touch of modernity. They also promote Fleury-Gille Champagne beyond France's borders.

OUR VINEYARD
The geographical location of the Champagne vineyards, their climatic conditions and the unique characteristics of their subsoil create a truly exceptional terroir, giving Champagne wines their unmistakable character.
The Fleury family cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards situated between the Marne River and the forest, on the well-exposed slopes of Trélou-sur-Marne and Passy-sur-Marne. The Champagne wine region has the most fragmented vineyard landscape of any French appellation, with Trélou holding the record at 7,278 individual plots!
All three traditional Champagne grape varieties are grown on the Fleury-Gille estate:
- Pinot Meunier, a black grape with white flesh, predominant in the Marne Valley
- Pinot Noir, a black grape with white flesh
- Chardonnay, a white grape variety

OUR VALUES
For the Fleury family, the words Respect, Authenticity, Tradition, Passion and Sharingare much more than just words.
These values play a fundamental role in our daily work and are reflected in our Champagnes.
This is also why we have chosen to join and sign the charter of the Independent Winegrowers of France (Vignerons Indépendants de France), a guarantee of authenticity and quality craftsmanship, and a trusted reference for wine enthusiasts!
Welcoming visitors to our estate
